In my dream I was dropping back to urdhva dhanurasana... So effortlessly, so comfortably... I did not even come close to try it from the standing position yet. But I was so happy! Well I am also happy in real life that I could practice for the last two days -yet moderately as much as my back allows, there is still a little pain.

The picture was taken yesterday in Boxhagener Platz Flohmarkt, where I got a beautiful dress for 2 euros, the dress I am wearing as I type these words. It was a great Sunday with great coffees, conversations, hefeweizens and with the rain after the heat... Did I ever mention that I love Berlin? :)

And my camera is so close to being a trash, although I kinda like the effects in some photos that it's making uncontrollably...

These are my last moments today in the library. Finally finished the piece I have been dragging around for a w-h-i-l-e now.. Tomorrow I need to write about it before the ideas start to run away from my head...

No time to write

Urdhva Dhanurasana

From two weeks ago, a modification suggested by Swenson. No time to write properly... Will try this afternoon. I do not even have time to practice Yoga properly.. Well sometimes it's like that, what can you do...

Have a wonderful weekend everybody..

Motion in Urdhva Padmasana

Two months ago, I wrote about my new year resolutions. It's good to see that, I have already accomplished one or two and have taken steps towards achieving the others. Some of them looked so hard at the time, like finding a long term accommodation... Life is never how we expect it to be. Without thinking of these resolutions today I hanged posters around the school to find a tandem. Then I saw that it was on my list...

I observe my feelings nowadays a lot. Try to stay out of them but not suppressing. When there is a hard, sad feeling that I cannot deal with I try to think of it as if it's someone else's. Then I can be more objective. But to achieve this is so hard. It's a constant battle. And I am very tired today... No Yoga for three days due to moon days... And I need it so much.. Can I bike tomorrow morning to Wannsee? Then study for 4 hours and get organized? What will life bring? My mind is SO full. Let's see what will tomorrow be like...

Urdhva Dhanurasana

This asana is supposed to increase energy levels and fight depression. I am quite far away from the complete form...

Woke up early despite the fact that I did not sleep well at all. I keep having dreams about Berlin. I love Berlin but my dreams are nightmarish. Two nights ago, in my dream, I got off the plane thinking that it was Cologne where I have arrived while it was actually /in the dream/ was Berlin. I had my bike in Cologne /I still have it in front of a friend's house/ and left my luggages in the airport since I could not carry them on my bike. I looked and looked and looked for the house I was going to live in. Tried to remember the street name I lived in I could not. But I was in Cologne, but it was Berlin. I woke up exhausted!

Last night I dreamed of my mails that was supposed to arrive when I got back to Berlin. My school registration and semester ticket must have been already in my ex-house. But in my dream it was not there. With my ex-flatmate we went through the stack of mails and could not find them. I was so sad. I also did not like the house I was going to rent in my dream. I woke up exhausted!

Please my mind. I am begging you to let it go. When the time comes you can think about these. I have still 4 lovely days in London. Study and stroll; that's all you need to do.

Today I will try to be focused in my meditation and practice. Let's see if I can connect to subconscious even a little bit.

Yoga Mat

Me performing urdhva dhanurasana :)

My one and only, new Yoga Mat arrived this afternoon, and I just completed my practice. A loooong and a tiring one. I am quite shaky :) But during the practice I felt so strong and flexible. I even did my least favorite asana parivrtta trikonasana and could get into lotus position when I was doing the shoulder stand, which I could never succeed.

I liked my mat. It will take some time to adjust I guess. Although it feels like I can slip I do not. I need to build the trust :) I am changing, I can feel it so as my asanas and yoga practice. I hope the change continues. I really like it.

Full Practice

This is my room I have been staying since the beginning of August. I am happy about it since there is enough space to do yoga and there are carpets on the floor which make a pleasent soft ground.

I am completely confused about months, seasons, days. I keep thinking this is still Autumn because of the weather in Cologne. And of course that makes everything complicated. (I was about to write since the beginning of September... I am always in September I guess... my favorite month)

After my German class, I came back to my house and finally did a full Ashtanga Series, that fellt great. Well I omitted the last 4-5 asanas. I got so tired towards the end but could do the complete set of urdhva dhanurasana, 3 times 5 breaths. I was again amazed by myself. Also if you practice in the afternoon, it is ofcourse easier to get into the poses but the purpose is not to get in to the poses easily in Yoga. It is the whole practice, and if you do it in the morning, it really energizes you and makes you feel calm the whole day.

I meant to go to Mediothek, then the Bibliothek, but it's raining cats and dogs. I have no desire to leave my cozy room. But I guess I will still try the Bibliothek in couple of hours I can take a nice nap now. No running today, me go in to jazz bar :)
