Pfaueninsel- Peacockisland a bit sout of Berlin, easily arrived by S-bahn and bike, a protected nature area. Electric fences to protect the bugs on meadows from boars :) the 30 seconds dinghy ride, friendly peacocks, great gardens... It's a beautiful area for an easy hike. There are many ancient oak trees, some of them having weird structures- see photo: are these two diving fellows? Oh and the unopened doors with the spider nets. Old castles and what not...
