In Bebek Starbucks

Since now I am in the capital of consumption I can feel the holiday spirit. The shops look beautiful with their new year design. They say buy buy buy. Above is one of my favorite gifts ;)

I arrived in Istanbul yesterday. It took 5 hours from Ankara to Istanbul by bus then 3 hours to get where I should go in Istanbul.

Istanbul is a tricky city. It is so beautiful and full of life and center of everything but then the traffic. Oh the traffic...It was not even the rush hour by the way...

Are we going to be able to solve the traffic mess in Istanbul? We hope so. Curious? Read our blog: YoldaBeraber

Tomorrow

Tomorrow, I need to wake up at 6 since I have an appointment in the consulate at 8:30 am.

Then I have a flight to Ankara in the afternoon.

Then,  on Thursday afternoon,  I have an interview for a scholarship that I have been working for, for a long time.

Then I might go to Istanbul...

I still haven't finished the foreword...

Alternative New Year Celebrations

New Year Celebrations in New York from "The Starting Five"

I was looking for some option - maybe- not to be drunk in the first hours of the new year and not being in crowds.

This beautiful image is  from Yoga-Stars

Cihangir Yoga is a nice alternative. They will be meditating and chanting for welcoming the new year.
They encourage you to bring a gift that you do not use but you like. I loved the idea!

You can find the above photo here.

Buklamania is going to East Karadeniz. Very tempting....

Do you know any other relaxing, amazing alternatives?
