Rome

Trevi Fountain

Hi everyone. I am a bit of a sunshine today. So I decided to give some tips about Rome.

We stayed in Hotel d'Este. It is really nice for the price and location. They are open to negotiation on price. It was very close to Termini.

Colleseum and Forum are very impressing. We had the Roma Pass, so it was free for us. You pay 23 Euro for 3 days of unlimited transportation and 2 museum entrance plus discounts. Transportation is cheap in Rome. You can get a daily pass for 4 euro.

Fountain de Trevi (Fountain of Love) is the most amazing fountain I have ever seen. (Above photo also)

Castel Sant' Angelo is very close to Vatican city and Vatican museum and next to the Tiber river.

Vatican museum had such a long waiting line we did not get in. But I just found out that there are tours that take you in directly.

Via del Governo is a very lively street with a lot of dining and shopping facilities. There are local tastes in little restaurants. Piazza Navona is a very close by avenue especially quite alive at night with amazing cafes and diner.

For an insider tip: If you drink your coffee standing rather than sitting on a table you pay 50 percent less.

Have fun!
